The Beauty of Artwork

The Beauty of Artwork

The Beauty of Artwork

Love To Draw

I draw since I was a kid when I started to create imaginary worlds. I’ve always loved how drawing allowed me to share how I would see the world and all the things that go through my mind. A picture is worth a thousand words they say. So drawing has always been my way of expressing myself when words come short.

Today, as an artist I spend a lot of time observing. I tend to be intrigued by details which tell the most interesting stories in my opinion. They are often the start of my larger artworks hence my interest in abandoned sceneries but it is also true when it comes to my artwork involving animals or nudes. No matter the subject I love to work with mixed medium, combining ink, acrylic, pastel and watercolour in one same painting.

Capture Every Moment…

My original paintings and illustrations have different purposes. Besides creating original commissioned paintings for anyone’s home, illustrations for marketing publication as well as illustrated books, I also develop ‘collections’ of products with personal series I work on. From the design, hand making, packaging, marketing and retailing, Emilie Geant Artwork offers a range of gifts like art prints, accessories and jewellery available online, in retails across New Zealand and at markets.
